I love the old NES Black Box series of games and so I wanted to pay tribute to them somehow. Kung Fu or Spartan X as it's also called is one of those games that I played a lot as a kid and when I decided to make this game the first entry in my Black Box series the choice of style/genre came pretty easy. Of course it should sound like a cheesy 70's Kung Fu flick. I took most inspiration from the classic Bruce Lee film soundtracks, but I also to a lot of musical cues from some of the Shaft soundtracks.
